Intergalactic Plastic Code of Conduct

While you are shopping or playing games in our store, we ask that everyone follow these guidelines.

  • Be respectful of everyone. All staff, players, spectators, and customers are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner in order to ensure that everyone has a great time! Intergalactic Plastic reserves the right to ask anyone to leave at any time and may at our sole discretion prohibit you from returning to the store should you violate any portion of the Code of Conduct.

  • Foul or Abusive Language will not be tolerated. You may be expelled from the store at the sole discretion of Intergalactic Plastic staff for any derogatory, abusive, or foul language.

  • Bullying including hazing or discriminatory or derogatory language, comments, or activities will not be tolerated.

  • Theft of any store or customer property is not tolerated. This will result in expulsion from the store and a report to local law enforcement. This also includes any intentional destruction of unpurchased store property and any customers property. This includes theft by unfair / inequitable trading practices.

  • Improper Attire. Wearing of obscene or demeaning attire is not allowed. You may be asked to leave if you are wearing anything that we believe to be inappropriate. This is at the sole discretion of Intergalactic Plastic staff.

  • Poor Personal Hygiene. Excessive body odor or unclean attire are not fun to be around. Poor personal hygiene may result in expulsion from the store until the issue is corrected.

  • No Drugs or Alcohol in or out of your person. Anyone caught with illegal drugs at Intergalactic Plastic, including parking lots, may receive a lifetime ban on the first offense without warning. No smoking, vaping, consuming of alcohol, or usage of marijuana is allowed on the premises.

  • Horseplay of any kind (hitting, mock fighting, kicking, etc.) will not be tolerated. You may be asked to leave for horseplay at the discretion of Intergalactic Plastic staff.

Observing an illegal activity and not reporting it immediately to the Intergalactic Plastic staff is a violation of the Code of Conduct. We ask that you tell us about any illegal activities involving actions in our stores or at our events. Observing illegal activity, including but not limited to theft or drug possession, and not reporting it makes you an accessory to the crime.

The following are expected from all players, customers, spectators, and staff:

  • Fairness. Games cease to be fun when players break the rules to achieve victory. A player should prefer to lose a game than to win by cheating.

  • Honesty. Players of any game should strive to act honestly while playing that game. If a player inadvertently breaks a rule during a game and becomes aware of the error before his or her opponent or a judge, that player should make the opponent and the judge aware of the misplay.

  • No Promotion, Solicitation, and Purchasing. Conducting any other business without the express permission in writing from Intergalactic Plastic staff is disrespectful of the business of Intergalatic Plastic. This includes the promotion, buying, or selling of cards, games, or other items, including any form of purchase or sales and event promotion for any personal gain or for any other venue. Doing so without express written permission is strictly prohibited and grounds for expulsion from the store and/or denial of entry for any and all future events at the sole discretion of Intergalactic Plastic staff.

  • Food and Beverages. Carry-in food and beverages are allowed, but we ask that you keep the play areas clean and tidy. We ask that you notify Intergalactic Plastic staff when a food or beverage spill occurs. You will be asked to clean up spill. All beverages must have a lid or have a small opening similar to a can.

  • Sportsmanship. Winning or losing with grace is vital to the enjoyment of any game and to the success of our gaming community. Demeaning or disrespectful comments or actions before, during, or after a game indicate poor sportsmanship and will not be tolerated.

  • No Reservations. Gamers may not "reserve" tables by leaving their belongings at a table and then leaving the store.
